How to Reset your Dealer Automotive MasterMind Password

This article will guide you through the process of resetting your Dealer Automotive MasterMind password.

***Before requesting a password reset through Mastermind, please ensure you have access to your MacHaik employee email account. This email will be used to receive the password reset link and two-factor authentication login codes from MasterMind.***

***If you are unable to receive the password reset link in your email or do not see the email in your inbox within 15 minutes, please contact [e-mail] to create a support ticket, and we will assist you with the password reset process.***

• Step 1: 
  • Once you are logged into the computer, go ahead and open up your preferred browser of choice. (Google Chrome/Microsoft Edge)

• Step 2:
  • Type the following URL into the address bar at the top - https://dealer.automotivemastermind.com/login
  • If you see the following image down below you are on the correct page

• Step 3:
• • "At the bottom of the white box, you will see the text 'Can't Log In?'. Click on this, and a new prompt will appear, asking you to enter your email address to reset your password. After entering the correct email address, click the dark purple 'Send Reset Link' button."

• Step 4:
  • If you have an account with MasterMind, a confirmation message will appear, letting you know that the password reset link has been successfully sent to the email address you provided. You should see a screen similar to the one shown below.

• Step 5:
  • Open your Email with Outlook or using Webmail (https://webmail.machaik.net), and look for an email that will come from "automotiveMastermind", it should look similar to this

• • Once you open the email, you will receive a unique link that allows you to reset your password. The email will look very similar to the example shown below. Click on the 'Click here to reset your password' link, which will open in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, directing you to a page where you can enter your new MasterMind password.

     

• Step 6:
  • You will then be directed to a screen where you can enter your new password. Please note that there are specific password requirements, so ensure your new password meets the criteria to avoid any issues when updating. Once you have entered your new password, click 'Update'.

• No More Steps!:
  • After this, you should be able to return to the MasterMind login page at https://dealer.automotivemastermind.com/login, enter your email address and your new password, and successfully log in.
    ***Please note that MasterMind may occasionally send a Login Security Code to your email for two-factor authentication. This code is a 6-digit number. Once you receive it, enter the code, and you will be redirected to the dashboard page.***
